The Business and Industry Services staff will help you identify your training needs. Working either informally or formally with your organization, we apply assessment tools to identify areas of improvement and training options to fill those gaps.

Work Keys Service Center
Business and Industry Services houses Washtenaw County's only Work Keys Service Center. The Work Keys System is valuable to employers because it provides a common metric for identifying and communicating workforce skills, education and training requirements. Job profiling, skill assessment and instruction are the main components.

Companies use Work Keys to profile the skills required in a job. This helps them to do pre-employment screening. They also are able to identify skill gaps in incumbent employees, and set up appropriate training.
