I thought the Six Sigma Green Belt training was very well-paced, with the amount of material that we reviewed during the class and through the modules outside of class. I liked the interaction with the instructor. He initiated classroom exercises to use the tools that he was explaining. The class members were able to learn the material while creating examples. I learned a methodical approach to solve a problem.
The Problem Solving class ws more than I expected. This gives you the tools needed to better understand the issues and how to deal with them. Having the workshop training rather than a lecture was positive. With workshop training, you get a better understanding as to how and why the method shown is used. The steps learned in this class have helped me stay on track, getting to the true issue faster.
Based on the comments I received plus the participant evaluation forms, I believe the Problem Solving class was a positive learning experience for my team. I was impressed by the instructor's ability to engage his audience (quite effectively) into the essence/mechanics of problem solving.
Blum, Inc., located in Stanley, N.C., uses the Integrated Systems Technology lab to enhance their Apprenticeship 2000 Training Program. There are several things that I like about the Integrated Systems Technology (IST) Lab at CPCC, but perhaps the most important outcome is that the knowledge gained by the guys has had an immediate impact on the job...each individual has become more of a "multicraft" technician, more well-rounded.

Command Spanish has been a great help to our business. About 90% of our employees are Hispanic and don't speak English. There has always been a language barrier, but thanks to Command Spanish and the instructor, we are closing that gap and helping our managers who come into contact with these employees to be able to explain what they need to do or what the manager needs. This has been a great tool, and the best part is that you don't have to have a previous knowledge of Spanish.
