Computer Training

Computer knowledge is essential for employees at all levels in an organization; and a firm grasp of desktop applications such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is critical to success. CPCC has provided training to workforces at AT&T, Charlotte Pipe & Foundry, Family Dollar, First Charter, and WorkFlow One to name a few. From AutoCAD to Access, Adobe to Web Development, and from basic to advanced computer training, CPCC is your total resource for computer training solutions. A computer assessment tool is now available to assist you in placing your participants at the appropriate level within the MS desktop application curriculum.
Financial Services Real Estate

CPCC's Financial Services Institute provides training in the areas of pre-licensing, continuing education, and professional development for the mortgage banking, insurance, real estate and appraisal industries. The Certified Bank Teller Institute offers training for those wanting to enter into or enhance their skills within the banking industry. In addition, Notary Public training, which can be held at your facility for groups of 10 or more, allow you to take advantage of scheduling flexibility, in-class registration and textbook delivery at no extra charge.
Health & Safety

CPCC offers customized classes and workshops designed to help companies comply with North Carolina’s Occupational and Health Safety Act (OSHA). We can help your company create and maintain a safe work environment. Classes include OSHA training for the Construction Industry, General Industry, Hazwoper and Bloodborne Pathogens. First Aid/CPR classes are also offered. These classes can be conducted at your location or at one of CPCC’s campuses.
Manufacturing / Construction

As skilled workers reach retirement, the manufacturing and construction industries will need to transfer years of knowledge to a younger workforce. From Basic Conventional and CNC Machining to Blueprint Reading or Code Inspection, we offer targeted practical training for hourly workers, frontline supervisors, and managers. Our integrated systems technology lab is the most advanced facility in the state and along with our technical faculty can offer customized training in Industrial Electricity, Electronics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Mechanical Systems.

Occupational Spanish

Corporate & Continuing Education is Mecklenburg County’s only Licensed Official Regional Provider of Command Spanish®, the nation's leading provider of Spanish training programs for the workplace. Courses are customized to various occupations so that the material is relevant to the job and participants learn not only pertinent words/phrases for the workplace, but communication strategies that enable them to control the conversation with a Spanish-speaking individual. No prior knowledge of Spanish is necessary!
Basic Workskills

The mission of the Workplace Basic Workskills program is to prepare a company’s workforce to be more competitive by improving reading, math, and communication skills to meet the demands of changing technology and the emphasis on quality. Classes are offered covering topics such as: reading, math, writing, ESL, and GED. Our highly flexible scheduling offers on-site classes for your employees and can accommodate any shift schedule.
